Description and operation

Description

The ISG OFF switch on the floor console can be used to deactivate the ISG function.

Repair procedures

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the front console upper cover. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly")

3.	Disconnect the front console upper cover switch connector (A).

4.	Remove the front console upper cover switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

Installation

1.	Install the front console upper cover switch.

2.	Connect the front console upper cover switch connector.

3.	Install the front console upper cover.

4.	Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

1.	Remove the ISG switch. (Refer to ISG System - "ISG Swtich")

2.	Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between switch terminals.

If there is no continuity, replace the ISG OFF switch.

ISG Switch	Terminal	Measure
ON	1 - 8	continuity
OFF	1 - 8	No continuity

Description and operation Description The compressor is the power unit of the A/C system. It is located on the side of engine block and driven by a V-belt of engine. The compressor changes the low pressure and low temperature refrigerant gas into the high pressure and high temperature refrigerant gas.

Repair procedures Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch ON. 2. Manually operate the control switch and measure the voltage of blower motor. 3. Select the control switch to raise voltage until high speed.
