| Description |
The ISG OFF switch on the floor console can be used to deactivate the ISG function.

| Removal |
| 1. |
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| 2. |
Remove the front console upper cover. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console Assembly") |
| 3. |
Disconnect the front console upper cover switch connector (A).

Remove the front console upper cover switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.

| Installation |
| 1. |
Install the front console upper cover switch. |
| 2. |
Connect the front console upper cover switch connector. |
| 3. |
Install the front console upper cover. |
| 4. |
Connect the negative (-) battery terminal. |
| Inspection |
| 1. |
Remove the ISG switch. (Refer to ISG System - "ISG Swtich") |
| 2. |
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between switch terminals. |
| 3. |
If there is no continuity, replace the ISG OFF switch.

Repair procedures Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the front bumper assembly. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Assembly") 3. Remove the front fog lamp assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
Description and operation Description The PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heater is installed at the exit or the backside of heater core. The PTC heater is an electric heater using a PTC element as an auxiliary heating device that supplements deficiency of interior heat source in highly effective diesel engine.
