Repair procedures

Replacement
  

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

  
•

Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•

Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.

Separate the front door quadrant inner cover (A) by using a or remover.

2.

Remove the front door tweeter speaker connector (A).

3.

Disconnect the outside rear view mirror connector (A) and loosen the nuts (B).

4.

Remove the outside rear view mirror (A).

5.

Remove the front door belt outside weather strip (A).

6.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Make sure that the connector is connected properly.

•

Make sure that the door locks/unlocks and opens/closes properly.

•

Replace any damaged clips.

    Repair procedures Replacement 1. Remove the front door trim. (Refer to Front Door - "Front Door Trim") 2.

    Repair procedures Replacement 1. Loosen the front door checker (B) mounting bolt. Tightening torque : 19.

    Repair procedures Inspection 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the roof trim assembly. (Refer to Body - "Roof Trim Assembly") 3. Remove the glass motor (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
