Kia Rio: Trip information (Trip computer) / Trip Modes
- For Type A cluster
To change the trip mode, press the TRIP button.
- For Type B cluster
To change the trip mode, scroll the MOVE scroll switch (
)
in the trip computer mode.
The trip computer is a microcomputer- controlled driver information system that displays information related to driving. ✽ NOTICE Some driving information stored in the trip computer (for example Average Vehicle Speed) resets if the battery is disconnected.
■ Type A ■ Type B Distance To Empty (1) • The range is the estimated distance the vehicle can be driven with the remaining fuel. - Distance range : 1 ~ 9,999 km or 1 ~ 99,999 mi.

Repair procedures Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch ON. 2. Manually operate the control switch and measure the voltage of blower motor. 3. Select the control switch to raise voltage until high speed.
