1. Rear door latch

Repair procedures

Replacement

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the rear door inside handle. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Inside Handle")

2.	Remove the rear door window glass. (Refer to Rear Door - "Rear Door Window Glass")

3.	Disconnect the rear door latch connector (A).

4.	Loosen the rear door latch & outside handle base mounting rod (A).

5.	Loosen the rear door latchmounting screws (A).

6.	Remove the rear door latch (A).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Check that glass operation is normal.

•	Check the damage glass channel, and replace if necessary.

•	Adjust glass if necessary.

Repair procedures Replacement 1. Pull down the rear door window glass to the lowest level by pressing the power window glass switch.
