Kia Rio: Battery / Reset items
The following items should be reset after the battery has been discharged or the battery has been disconnected.
- Auto up/down window
- Sunroof
- Trip computer
- Climate control system
Your vehicle has a maintenance-free, calcium-based battery. If the battery becomes discharged in a short time (because, for example, the headlamps or interior lamps were left on while the vehicle was not in use), recharge it by slow charging (trickle) for 10 hours.
Tire care For proper maintenance, safety, and maximum fuel economy, you must always maintain recommended tire inflation pressures and stay within the load limits and weight distribution recommended for your vehicle.

Repair procedures Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3. Remove the steering column upper and lower shroud panel.

Description and operation Description The intake actuator is located at the blower unit. It regulates the intake door by signal from control unit. Pressing the intake selection switch will shift between recirculation and fresh air modes.
