Kia Rio: Features of your vehicle / Storage compartment
These compartments can be used to store small items.
To avoid possible theft, do not leave valuables in the storage compartment.
Always keep the storage compartment covers closed while driving.
WARNING - Flammable materials
Do not store flammable/explosive materials in the vehicle. These items may catch fire and/or explode if the vehicle is exposed to hot temperatures for extended periods.
Auto defogging reduces the possibility of fogging up the inside of the windshield by automatically sensing the moisture inside the windshield and air flow toward the windshield can increase.
Center console storage To open the center console storage, pull up the lever. Glove box To open the glove box, pull the handle, and the glove box will automatically open.

Description and operation Description The ambient temperature sensor is located at the front of the condenser and detects ambient air temperature. It is a negative type thermistor; resistance will increase with lower temperature, and decrease with higher temperature.
