1. Roof Trim Assembly

Repair procedures

Replacement

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the front seat. (Rear to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")

2.	Remove the rear seat. (Rear to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")

3.	Remove the front pillar trim. (Rear to Interior Trim - "Front Pillar Trim")

4.	Remove the canter pillar upper trim. (Rear to Interior Trim - "Center Pillar Trim")

5.	Remove the rear pillar trim. (Rear to Interior Trim - "Rear Pillar Trim")

6.	Remove the sunvisor and retainer. (Rear to Roof Trim - "Sunvisor")

7.	Remove the assist handle. (Rear to Roof Trim - "Assist Handle")

8.	Remove the overhead console lamp. (Rear to Body Electrical System - "Overhead Console Lamp")

9.	Remove the room lamp. (Refer to Body Electrical System - "Room Lamp')

10.	Remove the ECM mirror cover (A).

11.	Disconnect the ECM mirror connector (A).

12.	Remove the ECM mirror assembly (A).

13.	Disconnect the roof connector (A) and then remove the mounting clips. [Driver's] [Passenger's]

14.	Remove the roof trim mounting clips (A). [Front] [Rear]

15.	Disconnect the sunroof motor connector (A).

Remove the roof trim assembly (A) from the vehicle through the tail gate.

Take care not to damage the roof trim when removing.

17.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

•	Replace any damaged clips.

Tailgate❯

Repair procedures Adjustment (5Door) 1. After loosening the tailgate hinge (A) mounting bolts, adjust the tailgate by moving it up and down, or right and left.
